The details are lost in the scan, but she is wearing a pleated tunic, held in place with a soft rope, and accompanied by a necklace of flowers and wrap. The tunic is made of the same coarse material as Caliban's shirt, drawing focus to their rustic life together on the uncharted planet.
   This look is based on comparisons with Miranda to Greek goddesses. The tunic recalls the classic toga, and her long curls are barely held back by a golden netted cap. The cap refers to both Miranda's aristocratic nobility and the rustic lifestyle she leads. Although Miranda bears touches of the Italian world from which her father came, she has a slightly wild, nature-girl appearance.
