This mask is based on the description of Caliban as a "puppy-faced moon calf." Although the rest of the characters consider Caliban to be monsterous, my liking of Caliban and dislike of the tyranical Prospero prompted me to make Caliban the most friendly-looking monster around. (This is not the contradiction you may think; most of the cast of Sesame Street are also monsters.) The docile, cow-faced mask comes with matching four-finger gloves.
   Caliban is also associated with fish, as the original play is set on a tropical island. I have therefore equipped him with scaley-patterned pants and a fishing pole. The shirt is made of the same coarse material as Miranda's tunic, drawing focus to their rustic life together on the uncharted planet.
