Alfonso & the Boatswain
Alfonso is the king of Naples, and the Boatswain is in command of the king's ship. When the king's party becomes stranded on the uncharted planet, the Boatswain is a far more useful person than Alfonso.
This idea is displayed through the characters' contrasting space suits. Alfonso is clumsy and noisey in his fish bowl helmet, metallic suit and large, gravity-inducing boots. While Alfonso's suit is equipped only with signs of rank, the Boatswain's suit has minimal frills. It's sturdy and useful, with pockets and safety gear, and doesn't get in the way while the Boatswain is working.
